This summer, we welcomed contacts to our KDC Golf Day at the outstanding Remedy Oak Golf Club in Dorset. Known as one of the top courses in the country, the setting provided the perfect backdrop for a day of relaxed competition, good conversation and a chance to reconnect outside of the usual work environment.
The day began with practice and introductions, followed by 18 holes in teams, with groups mixed to encourage conversation as well as a bit of friendly competition.
Hospitality Meets Networking
As well as a round of golf on a course, the day offered a chance to step away from the desk and have meaningful conversations. That mix of light competition and shared time outdoors helped create exactly the kind of atmosphere we were aiming for: informal, enjoyable and well-paced.
After golf, we regrouped for dinner and a prize-giving.
What We Heard
We invited feedback after the event, and we were really pleased with the response:
“The event was well-organised, with clear communication and an excellent venue.”
“One of the best courses I’ve played. The relaxed setting, good food and strong company made it a memorable day.”
Guests also appreciated the balance between networking and hospitality, noting that it felt purposeful without being overly formal.
Until Next Time
We’d like to thank all our guests for joining us — and for helping make the day such a success. The combination of great weather, a fantastic course, and the right people made this more than just a day out — it was a valuable way to strengthen relationships and enjoy a day of golf.
We’re already looking forward to planning the next one.
