KDC Projects had the pleasure of attending this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford — one of the biggest events in the defence and aerospace calendar. It was a great chance for our team to catch up with clients, connect with industry peers, and see the latest in military aviation up close.
We hosted guests on the Friday at the Aviation Club tent, which gave us space to have more focused conversations. It was a relaxed and engaging setting, and we appreciated everyone who joined us.
A Closer Look at the Industry
RIAT brings together a wide mix of organisations — from military teams and prime contractors to engineering specialists. Walking the show gave us the chance to speak with people from across the sector and hear more about where the industry is heading.
We saw impressive flying displays and static aircraft, including new surveillance platforms and ISR systems. It was a useful reminder of how much engineering goes into keeping these aircraft mission-ready and how many different teams are involved in making that happen.
Time Well Spent
For KDC, RIAT was a valuable day on the ground. It helped us stay connected, informed, and involved in the conversations that matter across the defence community. We came away with fresh insights, new contacts, and a stronger sense of where our skills and services can support ongoing work.
Thanks again to the organisers and everyone we met — we’re already looking forward to next year.
