This month, our team travelled to Hamburg for this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), one of the key international events dedicated to the aircraft cabin supply chain. While we didn’t exhibit, attending in a visiting and networking capacity offered real value.

Building Industry Connections

AIX brought together an impressive cross-section of the commercial aviation industry — from airlines and OEMs to suppliers and engineering partners.

Conversations ranged from current programme support to emerging project needs.

Supporting the Cabin Supply Chain

Cabin design continues to be a technically demanding space. Weight reduction, certification, integration and user experience all need to work in harmony, and it’s where we know strong engineering delivery makes a difference.

Attending AIX helped reinforce that understanding. It allowed us to engage with the full scope of cabin engineering — from seating systems and structures to embedded electronics and environmental control.

Staying Technically Aligned

The show provided broader awareness and helped ground our engineering work in context — seeing how component suppliers, systems integrators and aircraft operators are approaching technical challenges.

Looking Ahead

AIX 2024 was a busy, insightful few days that showcased the energy and innovation driving the aviation sector. For us, it was a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones, and see how the sector is evolving.
