The Value of Military Experience
People leaving the Armed Forces bring with them a wide range of skills and experience, from leadership and teamwork to problem-solving, resilience and technical expertise. These qualities transfer strongly into civilian roles, but the move from military to civilian life can still present challenges.
The Armed Forces Covenant exists to help address this, by encouraging employers to better understand the Armed Forces community and to create working environments where military experience is recognised, valued and supported.
